Positions:
→ advertising manager
You’ll be working with existing and new clients to sell space on the online magazine or in-world sponsorship opportunities. You will have to be organized and have a good memory. A valid email address with your SL name is necessary, as is a good rapport with potential ad customers. Experience not necessary.

→ marketing/pr director
You’ll be working fairly closely with me and the art director to develop ways to get the company noticed and to entice new customers. You might have ideas for an ad campaign for the company, a concept for a special in-world event, or help out with clients’ businesses as well. Thinking outside the box is a must. Design skills not necessary, but creativity is good. You should be able to write a press release in English. Experience preferred.

→ account services manager
You’ll be the public face of the company as far as clients are concerned. You liaise with clients, addressing their concerns and needs, collecting information, and helping them choose which services meet their needs. You’ll be the middle of the web of staff, where everything comes together. Friendly and positive people should apply. You should love fashion and talking to designers. It’s not about badgering designers with notecards and “zomg hold a show with us!” but about helping them make the right choices for their fashion business. Experience is not necessary but keeness is. This is a bit of a time commitment.

→ art director
You’re a skilled and established graphic designer in RL and have experience with SL photography and texturing. You’ll be working closely with me and the marketing/pr director to develop ad campaigns, show themes, stage designs, promotional flyers, and more. Photoshop is necessary, HTML/CSS an asset. Once you’ve fleshed out the overall look and feel for something, design production can be passed off to another designer or photographer. Experience in graphic design necessary.

→ event producer
You’ve got experience with both show production and walking the runway. You know what works and what doesn’t to keep lag down and the audience happy and entertained. You can choreograph the stage, wrangle models, set the mood for the event, and contribute ideas to the art director for events. Experience necessary.

→ accountant
You’re super organized and good with numbers. Once every few weeks or so you’ll take all the data from everyone and tell us how we’re doing — where improvements can be made in spending, what the profit is, etc. This role is important because all exclusive staff have a cut of the profits. Experience and Excel an asset. This job, while important, isn’t a huge time-spender.

We also have contractual positions available for graphic designers, photographers, and fashion writers. Please note we do not need models of either gender and will not accept applications for modelling.

This jewellery series is a beautiful confection of Winter Rose snowflakes set in shimmering icy silver enhanced with glittering flecks of gold and blue diamonds. The waistband is inlaid with diamonds surrounding a black pearl, and this inlay is repeated on the brim of the blue velvet hat, which comes with or without a bow at the back.  The lace trim, brooch at the front and the tiny pearl buttons at the back are all hand drawn. This dress comes with bodice and glitch pants on all available layers. The skirt consists of two parts, the regular skirt and a semi transparent overskirt, which gives it a very soft look and lovely movement.

Danielle Harrop of Dani’s boutique brings us her exclusive Shine formal gown. Smooth, sensual iridescent fabric changes from blues to greens with the light. The mermaid skirt flairs out from the knees, swishing and swaying as you walk, drawing attention to the slim silhouette of the system skirt (over glitch pants) accentuating your lovely lady curves as you dance the night away. SHINE is a charity fashion event sponsored by Oryx Tempel of International House Of Style in conjunction with Metro Models, to benefit Medecins Sans Frontiers/Doctors Without Borders.

Style Report will be a monthly fashion show series held at the Metro Models headquarters on the urban Luxury sim. These shows will highlight the newest releases from virtual design houses, combining items from brands for trend-setting looks.

Because only so many avatars are able to attend a fashion event in-world, the Style Report shows will be filmed and a video composite created for each event. This brings further exposure to the items over the internet and YouTube.

Style Report sponsorship includes a full page ad in METRO Virtual Fashion. This extends your exposure even further, since our readers often download back issues of the magazine months after its publication date!

Your fashion brand will be featured in Style Report within two-three months of sponsorship, and your ad will appear in the next issue of METRO Virtual Fashion (a quarterly publication.) Note your creations will be sharing the runway with other sponsors.

Dark Laceworks is a little bit older than the other designs shown, but carries off the same attention to detail as the newer pieces. As with Savannah, I appreciate the sensual cut of the gown reveals a bit of skin… yet covers you adequately in style.
